I’m a dedicated animal lover offering personalised, one-on-one pet care in your home. My goal is to give your pets the same level of love, attention and care they receive from you, while giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.

I understand that leaving your pets with someone is a big decision. They aren’t just pets, they’re family. I take the responsibility of caring for them seriously and pride myself on being reliable, attentive, communicative and respectful of your home.

I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and other animals, as well as extensive experience as a dog owner. I currently have my 5-year-old German Shepherd x Husky, Poppy, and previously had a much-loved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who lived to the wonderful age of 15.

I’ve been involved in caring for dogs throughout every stage of their lives, including exercise, grooming, training, enrichment and senior care. I’ve also looked after friends’ and family members’ cats and dogs and have experience with pets who require a little extra patience and understanding, including blind, deaf and three-legged pets.

I’m comfortable caring for large and small dogs, puppies, senior pets and a variety of other animals, including cats, rabbits, birds and other small animals. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and adapting my care to what makes them feel happiest and most comfortable.

🏡 In-home care

I specialise in caring for pets in their own home, where they can stay surrounded by their familiar smells, beds, toys and routines rather than being placed somewhere unfamiliar.

I offer:

• Overnight house sitting

• Home visits for feeding, companionship, play and enrichment

• 30-minute dog walks

• 60-minute walks for dogs who enjoy extra exercise

• Tailored exercise and enrichment based on your pet’s age and abilities

For puppies, smaller breeds and senior dogs, I can adapt a 30-minute visit into a 15-minute walk followed by 15 minutes of play, enrichment or cuddles. For dogs who enjoy more activity, I can provide a 30-minute walk followed by 30 minutes of play and companionship.

I’m also happy to follow your pet’s established routine, including feeding, enrichment, medication where appropriate, exercise and bedtime routines.

❤️ Your pet’s wellbeing comes first

Safety is always my priority. During warmer weather, I avoid exercising dogs during the hottest part of the day. When temperatures reach around 25°C or above, I’ll favour early morning or evening walks and can provide indoor enrichment, play and companionship during the warmer hours instead.

I’m confident handling both large and small dogs, and being tall and strong means I’m comfortable managing larger breeds and assisting with lifting a dog into a vehicle when necessary.

I remain calm and responsible in unexpected situations and will contact you promptly if I have any concerns about your pet. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing how your pets are doing.

When I’m house sitting, I’m not only caring for your pets, I’m looking after your home too.

I treat every home with the same care and respect that I would expect someone to show my own. I keep the areas I use clean and tidy, follow your household preferences and make sure your home is well cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to water plants, bring in mail and help with other small household tasks where needed.

My availability is very flexible, and because pet care is something I am genuinely committed to, I’m able to dedicate my time and attention to the animals I’m looking after rather than treating it as something I simply fit around another job.

Ultimately, I want you to be able to go away and relax knowing your pets are safe, loved, entertained and being cared for properly in the comfort of their own home.
