Hi, I’m Stephanie, a reliable and caring pet lover based in Melbourne. Animals have always been a big part of my life, owning pets rabbits, rodents, dogs, lizards and more. I have 20 years of experience with looking after my own dogs and treat all my animals like my babies!

I have two friendly dogs of my own and experience caring for both dogs and cats, so I’m very familiar with daily pet care routines such as feeding, walking, playtime and giving lots of attention. Dogs staying with me usually get one to two walks a day depending on their energy levels, along with time to play and relax throughout the day. Walks are typically around the local neighbourhood and occasionally, we might take the dogs on a drive to a nature walk like a botanic park or the Dandenong ranges.

We have a fully fenced backyard for the dogs to lay around in the sun or/and do their business so there is no worrying about their bladders! My couch is dog friendly and would most likely be the place where you can find me cuddling the dogs. If that is not your pet's style, there are plenty of beds around the house for resting as well.

I work from home most days, so pets are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out, it is usually for a short time, with a maximum of about 5 hours. On Tuesdays, for extended pet sitting services such as boarding, pets may be left alone for up to 8 hours during the day, however, I do have a pet camera that I keep an eye on throughout the day.

When introducing new dogs to mine, I do it slowly and carefully to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and can administer medication if needed. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if needed. I have access to a car and live about 5 minutes away from our regular vet.

For the safety and wellbeing of all pets in my home, I only accept fully vaccinated pets. I welcome all cats and small animals in my home and will be treated with the same care and attention as my babies as I know pets are family too!
