I recently arrived in Australia to study, and as a huge animal lover, I find that spending time with pets really recharges my energy. It helps me feel closer to my own little dog back in Brazil. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and working with them here not only brings me joy but also helps me with my expenses. I’m 35 years old, an engineer and now a language student, and I’m responsible and caring. Being around pets is more than just a job for me; it’s a way to feel connected and bring some of that love and comfort into my life while I’m away from home.
Recently, I had a delightful surprise by pet-sitting two adorable kittens for over a month here in Perth. This experience filled me with love and gratitude, showing how much caring for animals fulfills me. Back in my country, I used to take care not only of my own dog but also of friends' and acquaintances' pets when they traveled. These experiences brought me deep satisfaction and reinforced my love for animals, something I continue to seek and value here in Australia.
