Hi! We’re Mercedes and my 12-year-old son, Alex, and we live in a cosy,
pet-friendly home here in Mullaloo. We’re both lifelong animal lovers,
and after years of helping friends and neighbours with their pets, we’re
excited to welcome more furry friends into our lives through Pawshake! 

Alex absolutely adores dogs — big, small, fluffy, energetic, shy, you name it! He’s
gentle, calm, and very patient, and he loves spending time playing with dogs or
just keeping them company while they relax. 

Your dog will rarely be left alone and will enjoy lots of supervision, cuddles, and
attention during the day. Having grown up with dogs myself, caring for animals
feels completely natural, and I love creating a safe and comforting environment
for pets who stay with us. 

Our Experience With Animals 

Together, we’ve looked after dogs of many sizes and personalities, including:  

• Small breeds like Cavoodles, Chihuahuas, Maltese, Mini Dachshunds 
• Medium breeds such as Border Collies, Kelpies, Staffies 

We’re comfortable with senior dogs, puppies, low-energy companions, and playful,
active dogs who need extra exercise. We’re also happy to follow any feeding
routines, training cues, or special care instructions to keep your dog feeling
right at home. 

Our Home & Environment 

We live in a secure, dog-friendly home with a fully fenced yard that’s perfect
for exploring, sunbathing, or a good sniff around. Inside, your dog is welcome
to relax on soft beds, hang out with us in the Quincho room, or stay close
while I work. 

We are lucky to be close to local parks and safe walking paths, so daily walks
and outdoor playtime are always part of our routine. Whether your dog loves
long strolls, gentle sniff-walks, or a run around the oval, we’ll match their
pace and needs. 

We’re a relaxed, caring family who will treat your dog as if they were our own — with
kindness, patience, and plenty of affection.
