Hi, I’m Liv! I’m 29 and originally from Cardiff, Wales, but I moved to New Zealand in September 2023 and now live in Auckland. I grew up with dogs my whole life, mainly German Shepherds and one very special Alaskan Malamute, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life.

I’m a huge animal lover, with a particular soft spot for dogs. While I’m unable to have a dog in my current flat, I’ve been lucky enough to regularly house sit and care for pets for friends and work colleagues since living in Auckland. I really enjoy keeping pets in their familiar environment and sticking to their usual routines, as I know how important this is for their comfort and wellbeing.

Alongside house sitting, I volunteer weekly at the SPCA here in New Zealand and previously volunteered with Dogs Trust back home in Cardiff. House sitting allows me to combine my love of animals with my passion for travel, and I take great pride in caring for both pets and homes as if they were my own.
