Hi, I’m Velvet!

I have 4+ years of clinical vet nurse experience and 15+ years experience caring for many different animals: cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, mice, and even reptiles and snakes. I have worked in various clinical veterinary settings as well as exotic vet nursing and wildlife.

As much as I love clinical work, I've decided to channel my true passions and branch out a bit, as I really value building closer, longer and more meaningful relationships with my clients.

I have advanced knowledge in animal behaviour training, 3 certifications in animal medicine and care, and my absolute passion in life is animals and wildlife.

My vet nursing career has taught me to instinctually recognise and respond to injuries, illnesses and emergencies professionally, and manage and administer medication schedules (oral, topical, subcutaneous injections). My services also include walks (or runs), overnight stays and drop ins.

I love other people’s animals as if they were my own, and want to make sure they’re enriched, amused and supported in their environment.

Currently based in Sydney’s Inner west and open to requests.
