Hi, my name is Ro. I am trustworthy, reliable and responsible and I
absolutely adore animals. 

From early childhood I have always shared my life with animal family members – including dogs, cats,
rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, axolotls etc. I truly couldn’t imagine life without animals
around me in some way. At present we have 2 rescue kitties - Oscar and Button (who is partially blind), 2 dogs - Teddy and Rahji, and an elderly grumpy
rabbit - Lavender. 

Having been away on holidays over the years and having had to do the hard task of finding kennels, willing friends, or beg family members to take care of our animals when we couldn’t take them with us….knowing now that there is a service like Pawshake that offers a trustworthy, genuine, caring person to come
to our home and check up on, feed, love and spend time with our beloved furry family members in their own familiar environment while we are away gives relief and so much piece of mind! So being able to give back by offering this type of care to others feels amazing and so worthwhile.  

Over the years, as well as having our own animals, I have, at different times of my life, been blessed with being able to volunteer at a number of animal rescue shelters working with a wide variety of domestic, farm and wildlife animals….all of which has been an absolute delight. I truly adored being able to get to know
and love many different animals and learn to appreciate each of them as individual, sentient beings capable of, and deserving, so much love and joy in their own right. I have also helped out friends and family members over the years by calling in to their homes to feed, play and spend time with their beloved furry companions when they have gone away. 

I am not working at present, other than creating recipes; artwork; cooking; and home duties at home, so I am very flexible time-wise to be able to work around your schedule and your animals' needs. 

I have, over the years, had to administer different meds and treatments to our animals so, with your detailed guidance of requirements when we do our ‘meet and greet,’ I will continue their treatments the same as you would do. 

I will ensure that I get detailed information from you about your animal’s needs etc so I can offer the best care to them in your absence so that you can have peace of mind and an enjoyable time away knowing your beloved furry family member/s is/are being loved and all needs taken care of just as you would. 

I will keep in touch via phone message updates regularly throughout your time away.  

Unless in the case of an absolute emergency, I will require us to have a ‘meet and greet’ beforehand
so that your animal/s, you, and I all feel comfortable with each other and get familiar with all requirements, expectations and individual quirks and needs etc.  

I am happy to put out and bring bins in, bring in mail etc.

For the entire time I spend with your animal/s I will love
and care for them as if they were my own….because I know they - all animals, deserve the best xxx
