Hi! I’m Emma 👋🐾

I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced volunteer foster carer for rescue dogs since 2017. I have also volunteered with international animal groups/shelters in India, Thailand, Greece and Egypt. Over the years I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs — from energetic goofballs to anxious rescues who just need a little extra patience, understanding, and love. I genuinely love getting to know every dog’s unique personality and making them feel safe, happy, and comfortable.

I joined Pawshake to turn my passion for animal care into my dream job   — animals bring me joy and I can't think of a better way to invest my time. I also currently don’t have any pets at home, which means your pet gets lots of attention, care, cuddles, and one-on-one time.

Thanks to my volunteer experience, I’m confident handling dogs with different temperaments, behavioural quirks, anxiety, medical and training needs. I have experience with basic training, lead walking, routines, socialisation, and reading dog body language, so I’m very attentive to making sure your pet feels relaxed and understood.

Whether your dog loves long walks, beach trips, playtime, naps on the couch, or just following someone around the house all day, I’m happy to match their vibe and routine. I’m also happy to provide updates, photos, and videos while you’re away so you can relax knowing your fur baby is in safe hands.

I know how important it is finding someone you trust with your pet and so I can provide the best care please message me with some information about your pet, including their personality, routines, behaviour around other animals, and anything else that will help me make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
