Hi! I’m Samantha

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I currently work professionally at a kennel and cattery in Dunedin, where I care for a variety of dogs and cats every day. My work has given me hands-on experience with feeding, cleaning, walks, medication, different personalities and making sure animals feel safe and comfortable in my care, I also have a certificate in Vet Nursing Assistance that has also helped me home these skills. Outside of work, I have my own much-loved rabbit, Koda, and two red-neck slider turtles, Franklin and Fergie, so I’m very comfortable with animals beyond just dogs and cats too!

My main service is house sitting, 30 minute to 1 hour home visits, and 30 minute dog walks, but can do longer when agreed upon.

I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals, and I’m happy to discuss individual needs, routines and personalities before booking. I particularly enjoy getting to know shy or nervous animals and letting them come to me at their own pace.
