Kiwi girl newly settled in Brisbane and seriously missing some furry friends!

I grew up with every pet you can imagine (all the legal ones! 😂), and my life has always been full of wagging tails, muddy paws, and big personalities. Now that we’re in Brisbane and not quite ready to commit to our own dog, I’d love to share all that love and energy with your furry best mate instead.

In the house is my partner, daughter (2) and myself.

I have lots of experience with high-energy breeds like boxers and staffies, so strong, excitable dogs are more than welcome. I’m looking for friendly, kid-safe dogs of any age.

Walks will be between 30-60mins during cooler times of the day. The dog will accompany me on any small errands and park visits. Any boarders will only be left along for an hour maximum. They will be secured inside the house with plenty of water and aircon.

Happy to take 2dogs from the same household for sleepovers but not two dogs at once if they come from different families.

If your pet is a couch potato, we love that too. I have experience with reactive dogs so am happy to chat about their care if needed depending on issue 😊

Safety is super important to us.

We have a spacious car with plenty of room for a comfy, secure ride. If your pup gets muddy or sandy on an adventure, we’ll make sure they come home clean and happy. Our home isn’t fully fenced, so all outdoor time is fully supervised and always on a lead to keep them safe. Inside the house, they’re treated like family — cuddles allowed, and they’ll sleep indoors where it’s nice and cosy.

Fresh water will always be available to them. I have no issues giving any medication needed. Also happy to help trim their nails and fringes. (Am a hairdresser not a groomer 🤣)

For cats, they will be treated as indoor cats. We do have a cat door that can be locked. Cats are also welcomed like family. They will have full access to the house and will provide water and entertainment.

I work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9-5 but can be flexible. If you are needing animals to stay during the week they will need to be comfortable staying indoors or 2-3hours on those day. I will pop in to check on them and let them toilet. Happy to look after your babies if that suits you and your pet.
