I have over 20 years experience in pet (and house) sitting via a house sitter website and repeat sits and pet care in my social and professional network; and I understand the anxiety of leaving pets in the care of others. I only sit for cats these days just because I love spending time with their complex personalities and quirks. 🌻🐈 

I have had cats continually since childhood and have cared for them throughout their live stages from kittens to geriatric, and nursed them following a variety of injuries and surgeries. I currently have two 9-year old (tuxedo medium haired) rescue cats called Uncle Leo and Henry Winterbottom.

My visits are generally 30 minutes each, and I commit to either one or two sits a day. Overnight stays are 6:30 pm-7am. Alternative arrangements may be negotiated - feel free to ask - you need to feel assured that your cats get the best care and love possible.

I hold a current police check, NDIS clearance, and Working With Children check for my other work (and to ease your mind). Can provide on demand. I have a reliable car and know my way around Melbourne.

My sits generally include:  

• keeping up regular feeding routine   
• checking for and cleaning up furballs and vomit or other accidents    
• basic grooming if requested and cats do not stress   
• administering oral medication (please note I do not administer subcutaneous or intravenous) 
• spending time with them playing and/or just sitting with them for company depending on their needs and preferences   
• cleaning litter boxes each visit   
• refreshing and cleaning water bowls and plates each visit   
• safely airing the apartment/house each visit (after instructions)   
• watering indoor and outdoor plants   
• emptying mail box   
• wheeling in/out rubbish/recycling bins for collection   
• send regular updates and pictures, set up video calls with your cats    
• monitor their behaviour and health and raise any issues of concern with you
