I’m Trudie, an experienced and reliable pet sitter with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for animals. While most of my background is with dogs, I’m equally happy looking after cats. I’ve also worked with many rescued pets from a variety of backgrounds, so I’m confident handling different temperaments, personalities, and needs.

What's included in my offerings:

• Dog boarding (short stays and weekends)
• Doggy daycare
• Dog walking
• Cat sitting (in my home or drop-in visits, depending on location)
• Feeding and fresh water
• Administering oral medications (tablets, liquids, etc.)
• Basic reinforcement of existing training (sit, stay, lead manners)
• Lots of companionship, playtime, and cuddles

While I’m happy to reinforce training and maintain your pet’s routine, I don’t offer formal training programs or grooming services beyond light brushing if required.

Dog Walks: Walks are typically 30–45 minutes

How many dogs I board: To ensure each pet gets plenty of attention, I only board a small number of dogs at one time (usually one household at a time, or a maximum of two compatible dogs).

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional wellbeing are my top priorities, and I keep communication open with regular updates and photos.

My Home Environment: 

I live in a small, tidy one-bedroom apartment in Brisbane. While I don’t have a private outdoor area or backyard, I’m located very close to a lovely park, which is perfect for regular walks, bathroom breaks, and fresh air.

I adore pets of all sizes and ages, though I have a special soft spot for senior dogs. I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals, whether that’s going for walks, providing companionship, or reinforcing routines to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.
