Hello! My name is Erika.

I’m originally from Mexico City. I’ve been living in Australia since June 2014, and I’m excited to offer my pet sitting services to pet owners who need someone reliable and caring to look after their fur babies.

I’m cheerful, calm, responsible, and trustworthy, and my goal is to provide peace of mind to both you and your pets. Growing up in Mexico with many animals, my grandmother taught me the importance of respecting and caring for them. I’ve always been surrounded by dogs, cats, birds, and fish, and I know how to feed, clean, groom, and exercise them.

I currently work full-time in childcare in East Brisbane, from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm. I have a strong passion for animals and have gained valuable experience as a former volunteer at RSPCA Wacol in Brisbane. I also recently completed my studies in Animal Care and Services at UQ. These studies have given me a solid foundation of skills and knowledge to ensure your pet has a fun, safe, and enjoyable time while you’re away. At the moment, I’m studying for my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. This means that if I have spare time, I like to spend it doing what I love most: being with animals!

I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, tortoises, and fish, and I am comfortable administering medication if needed. I’ve also completed over 250 hours of volunteer work at veterinary clinics around Brisbane City, so you can rest assured that your pet will be in good hands.

I’m available for feedings and check-ins in the mornings (5:00 am – 6:00 am) and in the evenings (5:00 pm – 10:00 pm) for feedings, check-ins, or walks with a small or medium dog (up to 15 kg). Just a heads-up, I’m not available on Mondays and Tuesdays, but happy to help on other days! Weekends are more flexible, and I’m happy to adjust to your schedule. I’m not available during 6:30 am – 4:00 pm, but I’d love to help outside those hours. I offer home visits or go for a walk (30–45 minutes), playtime at your place, and fun activities to keep your pet happy, healthy, and mentally stimulated. Just let me know your routines, and I’ll make sure your pet’s needs are met with care and attention.

I hold a Blue Card, First Aid, Police Check, and CPR training for both humans and animals, and I’m fully vaccinated. I also have an open driver’s license, and I can care for your plants while you're away. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and giving them lots of love and attention.

I am the mum of a 3-year-old male German Shorthaired Pointer who has separation anxiety, and I am a mum of two cats. I know that in order for a pet to feel safe and happy, it’s essential to meet their basic needs and provide mental stimulation.
