A Bit About Me:

My name is Sam I'm 19 and I love all things animals! I love animals of all shapes and sizes whether they are scaled, feathered or fluffy. I currently have two dogs, a snake and a cat all of which I absolutely adore!

All of the pets in my household are family pets - except for my cat willow. I adopted willow in march of 2026. She was a rescue and even though it took her a bit to come out of her shell she is now my little shadow. You can see her in the photos attached in my profile.

Availability:

I am currently a student at University studying a Bachelor of Psychology, and when I am not at university I work casually as a support worker and a tutor. However I do most of my lectures online and most of my shifts are mid-day/afternoon making my availability relatively flexible.

Experience:

I have been pet sitting for under a year however in this time I have been a pet sitter to multiple lovely animals!

In this time I have had two instances where Pets took oral medication and was able to administer this without issue.

Your Pets:

I am happy to take pets of all shapes, breeds and sizes.

If your pet is nervous or skittish, I will be conscious of their space and let them come to me, or just leave them be if they don't feel like interacting with me.

If your pet is excitable and in a playful mood, I will attempt to tire them out as best possible through play.

If your pet is a senior, and isn't up for play, that can be traded in for some gentle pats and love!

If your pet is friendly and loves a good hug, I am more than happy to give them that before I leave!

My only ask is that if there is anything your pets don't like - whether it's people wearing hats, ect that triggers a negative reaction in your pet please let me know ahead of time. If your pet can be reactive in any way you will also need to provide that information ahead of time. 

Feel free to let me know all your pets likes as well, so I can make sure they are as best taken care of as possible!

Services:

I am happy to send you updates during the services! This can range from photos of your pet to brief descriptions on what they are up to!

For 1x home visits, rate is hourly. Therefore if booking is for multiple hours, additional charge may apply. During my time spent with your pet I am happy to do all of the following listed below in 2x home visits.

For 2x home visits I usually spend about an hour with your pet in the morning and night, this time is dedicated to;

- Feeding Pets

- Administering medication (if applicable)

- Doing pet related chores I.e., emptying cat litter, picking up dog poo ect.

- Play/Quality time, this time will look different depending on your pet, their needs and their boundaries. For example this could look like playing fetch with your dog, spending time around your pet so they have company or giving your pets love and attention ect.

For house sitting as well as all things included in 2x home visits I am more than happy to do light housework I.e., doing/hanging out washing, cleaning pet bowls ect. while I am there.

Unavailability:

The times below are the regular times I am unavailable each week

*Please Note* however that when booking I am happy to go before/after any shifts/university commitments.

This is not to say I am completely unavailable on the following days, just that I am unavailable at these given times.

Mondays: 7:00am-1:30pm / 4:30pm every fortnight(Support Work)

Tuesdays: 10am-4pm (Uni Contact Day)

Wednesdays: 2:30pm-6:30pm (Tutoring)

Friday: 7:00am-9am (Support Work)

In Case of Emergency;

If anything at any point is to go wrong during the service you will be contacted immediately. 

If your pet is in immediate danger they will be rushed to the nearest vet and you will be contacted immediately.
