I have been an owner of two cats, one a stray moggy who showed up hungry one day - I fed him some tuna, and he never left! He was a grumpy old fellow but I did love him, and called him Professor Snape. Sadly he passed away many years ago. 

The second was a Scottish Fold who was a birthday present from a former partner, because I used to watch too many videos of Scottish Folds. Yuki Kuro was beloved for over a decade, but a few years ago was adopted by a housemate who became very attached to Yuki during covid, during which time I became pregnant! I still get photos =) 

My daughter is now 4 and very good around cats, we sit for friends (and now professionally!) regularly, and eventually I expect we will get a cat (in a few years), but for now we are very happy to look after yours! Please note I've added some photos of my daughter and pets as well as myself - it's easier to find photos of her with cats than me though as I hadn't really thought about getting too many photos of myself interacting with pets over the years, I usually just take photos *of* the pets! I am not experienced with dogs, and at this stage can only offer cat or small animal sitting in your home, or emergency animal transport if I am available. 

I am available for cat & smaller pet / house minding with my daughter with me. I am working 2 days a week usually, so have lots of time to give to any pets and my daughter just loves all animals. I will also be able to water plants and bring in the mail. My work is in the city fringe so prefer locations that won't involve a really long commute, I need somewhere to park my car when staying, ideally be able to charge it too as it is electric, though I actually prefer to take public transport where possible so charging would be minimal. Happy to use whatever security system you have and I am fastidious about locking up. I am a non-smoker and can provide pet minding references on request. 

I generally don't have solid dates blocked out unless already booked: that is because my daughter attends 4yo kinder rurally and while I work in the city, sit dates need to align largely on weekends and the latter part of the week except on school holidays. So mostly we can't do sits on Mon/Tue, with some exceptions.
