Hello fellow pet lovers,
We know first hand how hard it can be to find suitable accommodation for our furry family members... so let us help you make it easy. My husband and I and have 2 kids - one little human and one fur "baby". Our son is 9 years old and our dog Leo (golden retriever) is 12. We live in a house with a large fenced garden and plenty of dog beds to choose from.
I, Katie, am a stay at home mom and therefore have sufficient time to properly care for your furry kids and ours. We are very outdoorsy and all of us love spending time with dogs of all breeds and ages. We usually take a walk around the neighbourhood in the morning and a more extensive one to the park in the afternoon. The pets will only ever be alone for 3 hour stretches at the most.
Should you have specific requirements for your pet, please get in touch and I'm sure we'll be able to accommodate. We only host a max of 2 guest dogs at a time to ensure they get walked appropriately and get all the attention they need.

I have experience in administering antibiotics, ear and eye drops as well as skin ointment. However, inevitably your pet will need to be child friendly as our son spends a lot of time with them. There is no way around it, but equally he knows to respect them and there's never been a problem (we've been hosting dogs for 8 years). Max loves their company and gives them extra cuddles.
We are more than happy to provide daily updates, photos and videos, if you wish.

Please note that we require all dogs to be toilet trained.

If you’re wondering why we are offering this service: Personally I hated putting Leo in a kennel and will always opt for another family to care for him while we are gone, so we are also frequently using pawshake sitters.
