My husband Laurence and I offer pet day care, pet hosting and dog walking from our home in Eagleby. We adore animals and are the proud parents of Benji, our kelpie x border collie.

Your pup will enjoy a full indoor lifestyle with us, day and night. Because we have a small yard suited mainly for toilet breaks, we focus on high-energy enrichment elsewhere; your pup will enjoy 1–2 daily walks in nearby parks and reserves tailored to their needs.

Both of us grew up surrounded by animals, so you can rest assured your pet will be safe, loved and treated like family 🐶

Before Booking

🐾 We encourage a meet & greet so your dog can get comfortable with us and Benji

🐾 Please bring along anything your pet needs to feel at home (bed, toys, treats, etc.)

🐾 Food isn’t provided; it’s best to keep them on their usual diet

🐾 Dogs should ideally be desexed and well‑behaved

🐾 For long stays, we recommend a trial night first

Services & Details

👉 Pet Hosting (Overnight): Up to 24 hours (e.g. drop off 9.30am, pick up 9.30am the following day). Later pick up can be arranged as a pet day care booking.

👉 Pet Day Care: Up to 10 hours (e.g. drop off 9.30am, pick up 7.30pm the same day).

👉 Dog Walking (only available within 10 minutes drive from Eagleby): 20–30 minute walks tailored to your dog’s needs.

👉 Pick‑up & Drop‑off: Between 9.30am and 7.30pm.

👉 Pricing: All prices include Pawshake’s service fee.

Where will we walk your dog?

For daily walks, Benji enjoys the little park just a few steps from our home. On weekends, he loves a fun outing to the Alexander Clark Agility Dog Park, and every now and then we head to the beach for a change of scenery. We’ll happily tailor walks and activities to suit your dog’s needs, so they feel right at home.

What information do we need to know about your pet before accepting a booking?

Please let us know if your pet has any behavioural needs, requires medication, or has any other special considerations. We also like to arrange a meet‑and‑greet with you and your pet before confirming a booking (except in emergencies).

What is the estimated time that we will spend with your pet each day?

I’m home full time, and my husband is around most of the time too, so your furbaby will always have company, care, and plenty of attention.

ℹ️ Please note that we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for undisclosed hygiene issues. If a pet arrives with active parasites (fleas), chronic vomiting or unhygienic bedding, we will always prioritise the health of our home and our toddler’s safety over business as usual. In these rare cases, we use the secure outdoor area for brief health-rotations (e.g. during our child’s mealtimes) to prevent indoor infestation.
