Hi! I’m Tara,

I am very passionate about all animals, pets and the outdoors. Camping is my absolute favourite thing and going up to the Murray River every year is always great fun! I love going on walks and hikes around different parks and new areas. Exploring is one of my biggest passions, and I’m all about living life to the fullest and discovering something new every day.

Animals have been a huge part of my life, and I would love the opportunity to care for and look after pets. I’ve had a big range of pets growing up, including lots of cats, a dog, two turtles, three green tree frogs, many fish, three bunnies, and three budgies. Growing up with animals has taught me a lot about their care and well-being. I’m reliable, organised, and experienced with animals. I have worked at a doggy day care and also a few boarding kennels too, giving me a lot of hands-on experience in dog handling and behaviour as well at for cats.

If you choose me to look after your pet, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, including cuddles, playtime, training (for dogs, I can teach tricks and basic commands), and of course, feeding. I’ve cared for dogs since they were puppies, and I’m familiar with both dog and cat lifestyles.

I currently have a 5 year old Border Collie named Luka, who’s the most gentle, sweet boy and absolutely loves playing with Tennis Balls and Frisbees and a good game of tug o war too.☺️

I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and types, and I look forward to the chance to care for your pets while you’re away!
