I am a veterinary nurse in a busy hospital with over 10 years of experience it pet care in the industry working with many kinds of animals. My life has always revolved around animals even as a child growing up on a farm in the UK. I do night shift work so I am always home during the day. I work every second weekend, and I have the ability to take a dog to work with me if required on my longer shifts. I love to stay at home or go for walks when I am not working. I don't go out or drink much, I am all about the quiet life.

I have recently said goodbye to my 12.5 year old bull terrier, who was my best friend and companion. At the moment I am not looking to get another pet, so divided to look into helping with pet sitting instead. So I currently have a secure pet free home. Even though I spend my days at work with other people pets I miss having one in my home to keep me company.

I have volunteered for many years when I lived in Melbourne for rescue groups. Fostering dogs and caring for them in shelter facilities or in the vet environment, many of the once I fostered were young or puppies, as well some that had come from a puppy firm environment and not had much socialisation with dogs or humans.
