🐶 We're on hiatus, next availability is early November. 🎄 Christmas booking - 1 new dog spot available. --- Hello. Welcome to Cubby Zen House. We offer a clean, calm and caring home for your dog to enjoy a cozy Zen retreat with Cotton. Our sizeable, secured backyard is where your dog can enjoy the freeeeeedom of running around, basking under the sun or chasing birds to its heart content. Comfort is our lifestyle so we'll have the AC on when it's hot and heat mode on for the cold winter nights. My husband and I has flexible working arrangement so your beautiful dog will always have us and Cotton's companionship during the retreat. We support natural well being for dogs that means we accept dogs who have been homeopathically vaccinated, wormed and flead. We feed Cotton slightly cooked food, so if your dog's food needs to be warmed up each meal, we can accomodate that. 🧡 We are currently accepting bookings from regular clients only and 100% house trained, well-behaved small dog - upon trial after meet and greet. 🐶 --- Our Zen retreat provides: 🎋 Zen day: hanging out in a calm environment or chill out under the sun 🎋 Zen walk: 20 min evening walk around our peaceful neighbourhood on weekdays and a family day out on the weekend. 🎋 Zen friendship: playing with Cotton (and friends) respectfully or have a space to self in the backyard watching the birds 🎋 Zazen evening: spending time together immersing in quiet silence, laying around with Cotton or enjoying energy therapy. 🎋 Zen ride: occasionally enjoy a car ride day with Cotton (individually seatbelted) and off for a beach adventure or just running errands around town. 🎋 Zen broth: enjoying nutritious bone broth occassionally, upon your permission. 🎋 Zen therapy (optional): 20 min of energy work focused on mental, emotional and nervous system well being. Cost for each session is $35. Cubby Zen House Freeeeeedom 🐶🐾🌳 We have an open door policy where you dog is free to let themselves out when they need to. They're free to roam around the house including both the front and backyards. During summer, we will keep your dog cool with indoor AC. During winter, we will keep your dog cozy and comfy with heater and blankets. For overnight stay, your dog will sleep indoor with us in our bedroom so please bring a bed along. We won't be able to accept dogs who need to sleep outside or in the laundry room. For these reasons, we only accept small dogs who are fully house trained and only do both the daily release outside 100% of the time. In any weather, your dog will need to know to call the door when he/she needs to pee and poop. We have a sizeable shaded outdoor area where your dog will be able to pee and poop when it rains. We live in a quiet, peaceful and considerate neighbourhood so your dog will generally need to be a quiet dog who listens. Minimal barking to communicate needs / alert is acceptable. Your dog must know to stop barking when asked, otherwise, we won't be able to accept your request. For a young 1 year old, if your dog still has tendencies to bite / chew / hide objects or personal items, please let us know for the safety of all dogs. We can provide required support where possible. 🕰️ Standard Schedule Hours 🦮 🧡 AM and PM drop off / pick up windows are: 8:30am-9:00am WEEKDAYS, 9:30-10:00am WEEKENDS and 6:30pm-7:00pm DAILY. 🧡 For overnight stay, if you're looking to pick up after the AM pick up window, a day care booking is required.
