Hi there!

I’m Rachel, country bumpkin at heart and have grown up around dogs, cats, horses and smaller furry creatures. I also used to teach horse riding and love dog walking, hiking and cuddles. I have owned cats, dogs and horses from childhood until I moved from the UK to Australia, including rescue dogs suffering from PTSD, severe separation anxiety, ghastrointestinal issues/sensitivity, and epilepsy. I currently have a high energy Springer Spaniel, so any boarding pets would need to be ok with other bouncy dogs.

I have also worked on several farms, horse riding schools, and have had work experience at 2 different vets during university.

I have trained puppies from the age of 6 weeks and have looked after toy dogs, giant dogs, and most of the breeds in between!

I have been a sitter since 2017 and have sat for a wide range of pets, from fish and rabbits to greyhounds, and have experience taking care of dogs with a range of physical and mental health conditions.

I am mobile across the Northern Beaches and in some circumstances all of Sydney, and will always make the effort to meet you and your pet before any sitting takes place, in order for you and your pet(s) to get to know me, for you to ask any questions and so that you can tell me all about your pet / make sure I am fully prepared for sitting ahead of the booking. I work 9-5 from home – other than Thursday where I am in the office for 7 hours, and I house sit 7 days a week (as long as your pet is comfortable being left alone whilst I work), as well as come for house visits or dog walk outside of these times.

If I sit for you, you will receive very regular text, photo and video updates of how your pet(s) and I are getting along!

I have a Police certificate from the AFP and have gone through all criminal record, health and background checking ahead of successfully becoming an Australian Resident. I currently work in compliance for one of the big 4 banks.
