Hello, my name is Mel, and I developed a passion for dogs and cats at a young age, which led me to join animal rescue for approximately 25 years + working in Mt Isa, for private companies and the council. I have owned several businesses including a PET SHOP which I loved, a CLEANING BUSINESS, and A BOWEN THERAPY ENERGY HEALING business. Holistic Health and Energy healing for animals has always been very important to me. They are very sensitive and I try to acknowledge this when I'm with them.

Staying at the pets home while their owner/s are away allows me to give them comfort and support while reducing any stress or anxiety. I try to make it as much fun as possible so your pets feel they're having a holiday, they will be much loved with plenty of massages, and hugs to help them feel secure. 😀A daily walk is also included in the petsit, 2 walks if I think they need it. I check out places for walks so pets have variety, as some dogs don't like to have contact with other dogs and I respect the dog's needs while walking. I appreciate owners leaving instructions for feeding, also special needs or requirements will always be adhered to. I read instructions daily so I don't miss any special needs.

(Dog Poop "will be picked up daily, and with Cats Litter "cleaned daily).

The "House" will always be left clean and tidy.

I have two small dogs, Benji a Maltese x bichon aged 14 years and Jackson a Lhasa Apso x Shitzu aged 7 years. As well as 2 x Ragdoll Cats. I am fortunate to share a house with my daughter, who looks after my pets when I'm away and they are happy as she works from home so is always with them.

I have been petsitting and home visiting for many years so it's a pleasure and a privilege to be asked to care for your pets.
