Hi there!

My name is Kate and I live in Castlemaine. I have years of pet owning experience, having had dogs and cats in my care throughout my life. I am a Project Manager working at an NDIS mental health support provider, and keen for some casual work on the side (and some joyful exercise!) in the evenings and weekends. I also volunteer at a womens information referral service as a support worker and for a music camp doing social media management.

I am keen for some regular dog walking / pet sitting work in my area around McKenzie Hill and Castlemaine. My partner Glenn and I adopted a rescue Tibetan Spaniel Cross called Lily who we adore, but it's always fun to meet other fur babies too!

I am patient and understand the importance of consistency in communication with animals and would be happy to help with any training you might be undertaking with your pet.

I'm so also a keen green thumb and happy to water your plants, pick your fruit trees and look after the house while you are away if you need it.

I work five days a week, so I would ususally only be able to walk your dogs weekends, evenings and mornings, but I work from home so have some flexibility if you live close.

Our house is fully fenced with a 6ft high fence if your dogs come to stay so very secure. I would ask for a meet nd greet eith my dog Lily before this however as your pet would be coming into her territory. She's friendly and chill, loves people and plays with other dogs, but not as interested in dogs as in humans. Bigger dogs can be overwhleming for her if they aren't wll behaved so definitely a meet and greet is needed for them.

We're happy to have dogs inside and outside at our house and wouldn't leave them alone during a boarding stay for more than an hour.

For dog walking I would usually take them for a 35-45 minute walk and can play fetch or whatever else if they're allowed off the lead, depends what parks and optinos you have near your home.

Please be sure to inform me of any allergies, quirks or behaviours that I need to be aware of so I can look after your animal well and keep them safe.

I tend not to take on more than one or two jobs per week, but always get in touch and ask if I'm free.
