I'm originally from Ireland and have grown up with dogs my entire life. They've always been a huge part of my family, so caring for them comes naturally. Since moving to Australia, one of the things I've missed most is having a dog around, which is why I love pet sitting. It gives me the opportunity to spend time with amazing dogs while giving owners complete peace of mind.

I work shift work, and my partner works in construction, so our schedules complement each other well. This means your dog would rarely be left alone for more than one or two hours at a time. They'll receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and affection throughout the day.

I live in a clean, secure, air-conditioned, pet-friendly apartment with a secure balcony. While we don't have a fenced yard, there's a fantastic dog park just a three-minute walk away, as well as plenty of great walking routes nearby. Your dog will enjoy regular walks, toilet breaks, supervised outdoor time, and lots of opportunities for exercise, play, and enrichment.

I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, doggy daycare, and overnight stays. Every dog has their own routine and personality, so I'll tailor my care to suit their individual needs. Whether they love long walks, chasing a ball, exploring new places, or simply relaxing with plenty of cuddles, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home.

I care for friendly, well-socialised dogs of all ages and sizes. Before every booking, I'd love to learn about your dog's routine, preferences, and any special requirements so I can provide the best possible care.

You'll receive regular photo and video updates throughout your dog's stay, so you can relax knowing they're in safe hands. My goal is for every dog to feel like they're on their own little holiday while you're away, giving you complete peace of mind that they're being cared for as if they were my own.

I provide a safe, caring and personalised environment for every pet. I offer dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking and home visits. Every pet receives plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles and exercise tailored to their individual needs. I'm happy to stick to your pet's usual routine, including feeding schedules, administering oral medications, and providing regular photo and video updates for peace of mind. While I don't offer professional grooming or formal training, I'm happy to reinforce any commands or routines your pet is already familiar with.

How many dogs will you board at the same time?

I only board one family's pets at a time. This allows me to give each pet my full attention and provides a calm, low-stress environment.

How long are your dog walks?

Walks are usually between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your dog's age, energy level and individual needs.

How many dog walks do you offer per day?

I offer at least two walks per day for boarding dogs, with additional toilet breaks and play sessions throughout the day.

How much time can you spend with pets?

Your pet will have plenty of companionship throughout the day. I work shift work and my partner works in construction, so between us there is almost always someone home. On the rare occasion we both need to be out, pets are never left alone for more than a couple of hours, well within Pawshake's boarding requirements.

How does pet care fit into your daily routine?

Pet care naturally fits into my routine. Daily walks, feeding, enrichment, playtime and cuddles are all planned around my schedule, ensuring pets receive consistent care and attention. Living close to a dog park also makes it easy to provide regular exercise.

What is your availability like?

My availability changes slightly depending on my work roster, but I'm flexible and happy to accommodate bookings whenever possible. Feel free to message me with your dates.

Do you work from home or leave the house for work?

I work shifts outside the home, and my partner works in construction. Because our schedules differ, there is usually someone at home, meaning pets receive lots of company and supervision.

Can you supervise guest pets 24/7?

Yes, pets are supervised for the vast majority of the time. They are never left alone for extended periods, and I make sure they are safe, comfortable and settled at all times.

What is your home like?

I live in a modern, air-conditioned apartment that is clean, comfortable and pet-friendly. The apartment has a secure balcony and is just a three-minute walk from a dog park, making it easy to provide regular exercise and enrichment.

Who else lives in your home?

I live with my partner, who is also an animal lover. We don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will receive our full attention.

Where are guest pets allowed to sleep?

Guest pets are welcome to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, whether that's in their own bed, a crate provided by you, or on the couch depending on your preferences and their usual routine.

Do you have a backyard

As I live in an apartment, I don't have a backyard. However, I have a secure balcony and a fully enclosed dog park just a three-minute walk away, where dogs can safely enjoy exercise and play.
