Hi, I'm Natalie. I love animals and have plenty of experience caring for them, both personally and professionally through my pet sitting business, Happy Homes Helper.

I’m comfortable caring for pets with a wide variety of temperaments, from shy and anxious who need extra reassurance to more outgoing and energetic pets who love plenty of play. I previously used Pawshake in the UK and found it a wonderful way to meet lovely people and their pets. As my reviews couldn't be transferred to the Australian Pawshake platform, I have uploaded some of them to my gallery so you can see feedback from previous clients.

I lived in Sydney for over 10 years before moving back to the UK to spend some time with my family and enjoy some European travel. During that time, I continued pet sitting and caring for animals across the UK and Europe. I've also uploaded reviews from those sits to my gallery, so you can see feedback from pet owners I've cared for along the way.

I'm now happily back in Sydney and excited to reconnect with the local pet-loving community, meet new furry friends, and continue providing loving and reliable pet care.

I have extensive experience, particularly with rescue cats and dogs, and understand how much patience and gentle care they need to feel happy and secure. I’ve helped care for rescue cats, ensuring they feel loved while waiting for their forever homes, and all of my own cats and dogs have been rescues.

Alongside this, I grew up caring for chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, and fish, and spent many years helping out at my local stables with the horses, especially our family horse, Pudding.

I’m originally from a tiny village in the UK called Holmes Chapel, which is very picturesque, but is mostly famous for being the birthplace of Harry Styles (and not much else!).

Before working in professional pet services, I spent many years in the not-for-profit sector, working in various roles for organisations including Doctors Without Borders, Canteen, and Mission Australia. I’m also a qualified Reiki practitioner, and I often find this helps animals feel settled and relaxed during my stay.

I’m tidy, respectful, and really value a calm and clean environment. I also enjoy caring for plants and am happy to look after houseplants, vegetable gardens, or outdoor pots while you're away.
