I've grown up around animals my whole life - dogs, chickens, you name it. These days I share my home with my partner Adam and my dog Rufus. Rufus is a two year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves making new firends.I offer pet stays at my place (both boarding and doggy day care) (must be dog-friendly!) as well as house and pet sitting at yours. I'm based in Yarraville, Melbourne and happy to travel to surrounding suburbs. Please note Rufus isn't suited to living with cats, so I'm only able to host dog guests. 

My partner and I both work from home 2-3 days a week, so there's almost always someone around to keep your pet company. For boarding and doggy day care, I'm avaiable seven days a week - weekdays and weekends - so I can be flexible around your schedule. Rufus will be great company too!

My daily routine involves a 30 minute walk in both the morning and afternoon, often around parks and beaches. Rufus is crate trained so I'm happy to provide crate care for your pet. I also encourage daily enrichment through training and games. 

Your pet's safety is my top priority. My home has a fully fenced yard with a doggy door so pets can roam and play freely, plus secuirty cameras on the outside for added peace of mind. 

I treat every animal in my care as my own - you'll get regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and safe. 

I take pet introductions seriously and always ensure a calm, stress-free first meeting. When a new dog comes to stay, I introduce them to Rufus slowly and carefully — starting with them in the same room but at a comfortable distance from each other. There's no rushing or forcing interaction. I supervise closely throughout, letting both dogs settle at their own pace until the excitement dies down and they feel relaxed in each other's company. Only once they're calm do I allow them to get closer. Your pet's comfort and safety always comes first.
