I am currently unavailable for house-sitting 16 DEC 2020 - 8 JAN 2021.
For brief bookings of day visits, I am currently looking to minimise social contact as much as possible. I hope you may feel comfortable providing instructions and access to a key if needed and looking to minimise meet 'n' greets with owners.
** Please note I am not currently taking on new house-sitting clients, only those who I have looked after previously.
*I am unable to undertake daycare or visits where owners require playtime/socialisation for their pet because of long work hour commitments.
Currently, I live in in Wilston in a townhouse where I am not allowed to have pets. It’s lovely being able to help owners be able to take a break without having the concern of whether or not their furkids will be loved, if they can't go along.
It's important, I feel, to make sure things stay as normal as possible for the furkids. My aim is to help your furkids experience as normal a routine as possible whilst you are away.
Every client has been a complete joy to look after...and their human owners aren't bad either! I've learnt many clients are looking to improve diet and find ways to help their pets be happier, healthier and calmer without the use of medications.
The Complete Pet Food company provides all-natural food for your pets nutritional needs in Brisbane. I also recommend Rover Pet Products for a therapeutic pet bed which is cool in summer, warm in winter (and is chew-resistant) for superb comfort during recovering from injury, surgery or sore joints from an older age.
You might also want to consider the use of essential oil blends in a diffuser to help calm your pets should they experiencing nervous behaviours. Please gain professional consult as to the right use of oils with your pets. Some oils are toxic and harmful. I am encouraging of looking to refrain from
prescription medications as much as possible, if it can be avoided.
Helen was great!
Regular photo updates of our pets.
Would definitely use Helen again.
The very best 😹
Whilst I don't have certifications or qualifications in animal husbandry, I have had animals most of my life up until the last 6 years whilst living in Brisbane. My horse Jay, was my pride and joy since I got him when I was 12 years old, and he was 7yrs old. I sent him to Rainbow Bridge in April 2014 at the age of 33yrs. He was my darling and my pride and joy who travelled in tow with me when I moved to QLD in 2001 from Tasmania.
My aim is to help your furkids experience as normal a routine as possible whilst you are away. Every client has been a complete joy to look after...and their human owners aren't bad either!
Feel welcome to message me to organise a free meet n greet. If I am not able to help you on a particular occasion, please check again for the next available person after myself. Definitely due your due diligence. It is highly important that you feel you can 200% trust and know your pets will be safe, loved and looked after as you would, in your absence.
I look forward to being able to give love to your furkids when you need to be away.
