Hello! My name is Rose and I was born and raised in Perth, Australia. I have recently returned home after living abroad in Europe for a couple of years.

I grew up surrounded by animals, these including farm animals on my family orchard, as well as domestic. I have always been a huge animal lover, and most of all dog lover! My grandparents, uncles and aunties all had dogs which I often looked after. I also had my own Bichon Frisé until the age of 19, as well as rabbits, fish and buggies.  

In recent years I have been a pet-sitter for friend's dogs, family friend's dogs and my brother’s dog – ranging from Toy Poodles, Grey Hounds, Golden Retrievers and German Shorthaired Pointer.

I also have experience working with rescue dogs, typically anxious and reactive. I manage behavioural challenges with patience, a sense of calm, and by respecting each dog’s triggers; using positive reinforcement and maintaining predictable routines. I focus on calm handling and gradual exposure rather than forcing interactions. My goal is always to build trust, reduce stress, and help dogs feel confident and secure while their owners are away.

My backyard is medium to large in size with a big grassy area for your dog to run around in. My home is also very spacious and pet-friendly, so you can rest assure your dog would be safe, happy and comfortable. I am close to many great dog walking spots including Lake Monger, various city parks and national parks and dog beaches.

I consider myself to be a highly responsible, reliable, trustworthy and caring person. I always go above and beyond when entrusted with a task and believe I have the required skills, qualities and experience to provide outstanding care for your pet.  

I am a house proud person and exceptionally clean + tidy, so would be sure to take extra good care of your home if I were to stay/visit. Additioanlly, my current schedule is flexible, which would allow me to commit to looking after your much loved pet <3
