About Me

Hi! I'm Penelope, a lifelong dog lover based in West Footscray. Growing up with a dog breeder as a dad, I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. These days, I share my home with Parker, my sweet and social lagotto who gets along with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. He’s a gentle soul who’s equally happy playing or just co-existing quietly with a new buddy.

Why I Dog Sit

My main motivation for dog sitting? Companionship for Parker! We’re not ready to commit to a second dog, so this is the perfect middle ground. Whether your dog wants a playmate or just someone to hang out with, Parker is a respectful and flexible companion who follows their lead.

What I Offer

We’re at the local dog park daily, but if your pup prefers calmer outings, I’m just as happy strolling the streets of West Footscray. I provide attentive care tailored to your dog’s needs—whether that’s administering medication, managing specific diets, or sticking to a particular routine. Our dog visitors live inside with me and visit our enclosed back yard regularly as they like throughout the day.

Experience

I’ve cared for many different breeds including lagottos, dachshunds, boxers, German shorthaired pointers, Jack Russells, cocker spaniels, Chinese cresteds, and plenty of lovable mixed breeds. Every dog is different, and I take the time to get to know their individual personality and preferences.
