Hi everyone!

My name is Jack, I am British, though I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and I have recently moved to sunny Brisbane! I have had a lifelong love of wildlife and passion for conservation (all stemming from watching Australia's own Steve Irwin on my TV screen!). I have dedicated my life to this cause, I have a first-class honours degree in Zoology (the scientific study of animals), and I work in the conservation and wildlife filmmaking industry.

I have had pets throughout my life and have always been around animals. I wanted a dog for as long as I could remember. At the age of 10, I offered to walk all my neighbours' dogs, and I had a host of pets from snakes to geckos and terrapins. When I was a little older, we finally got a family dog, Kobi. He was the friendliest (and cutest) little Papillon (pictured in the gallery). He recently passed on, and I miss him greatly. Although he might get jealous (sorry Kobi), I would love the chance to share some of my love for animals with your critters of all shapes and sizes. 

I am working freelance at the moment, so I can be very flexible with my time. I am ideally placed to check in/walk your pets during the week while you are in the office, and they need a bit of love and attention. I am based in West End, just a stone's throw from a beautiful stretch of river as well as several parks. I am happy working with any pets! For the more traditional (i.e. dogs and cats), I can offer walks of 30-60 minutes, depending on preference, as well as check-ins. I am also happy to do check-ins for water changes, feeding, cage cleaning, and whatever else needs doing!
