I genuinely love dogs and have nine years of experience raising and caring for my own Maltese. My sister also has a Bichon Frise here in Australia, and I regularly help with walks, feeding, playtime, and pet sitting. This has given me plenty of hands-on experience caring for small dogs with different personalities and routines.

My standard walks are 30 minutes, but I can also provide shorter toilet breaks or longer walks depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and usual routine. I currently prefer individual walks so that I can give each dog my full attention. I would only walk dogs together if they already live together, are comfortable with each other, and the owner has approved it.

During every walk, I stay fully focused on the dog and their surroundings. I do not scroll through or use my phone for personal reasons. I only use it when necessary, such as taking photo updates, tracking the walk, or contacting the owner. I carefully watch for traffic, other dogs, hazards, signs of stress, and changes in behaviour.

I genuinely enjoy walking and staying active, and I have completed several 10K running events. I’m happy to adjust the pace from a calm sniffing walk to a more active walk, depending on what your dog enjoys and is used to. Rainy-day walks are also available when conditions are safe and your dog is comfortable in the rain. If towels are provided, I can wipe and dry their paws after the walk.

For home visits, I can assist with feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, and basic clean-up according to your instructions. I will never leave a dog unattended during a booked walk or visit. If I notice anything unusual, such as limping, vomiting, breathing difficulties, extreme tiredness, or distress, I will contact you immediately. In an urgent situation, I will follow your emergency instructions and contact your nominated vet if needed.

I’m reliable, patient, attentive, and respectful of each dog’s routine. I will always provide photo updates and a short summary after each walk or visit. A free meet-and-greet is available before the first booking so that your dog can become familiar with me and you can explain their routine, behaviour, and any special needs.
