Hi! I’m Shari—a mature, responsible pet sitter, published author, and dedicated remote worker. Because I work from home, I offer a high level of companionship and stability. Your pets won't just be checked on; they’ll have a consistent friend by their side throughout the day and evening. My House Sitting Services When I house sit for you, my goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. My service includes: A Consistent Presence: Most days are spent working from your home, ensuring your pets have companionship and supervision. Daily Exercise & Care: I include at least one dedicated walk per day and plenty of playtime. I am also happy to handle mail collection, plant watering, and keeping your home tidy and secure. Communication: I love sending regular photo and video updates so you can see how much fun your pets are having while you’re away. My Routine & Availability As a remote worker, I provide a very stable environment, though I do enjoy exploring the local area: Daily Life: On most days, I am based at home. Your pets will enjoy shared lunch breaks and a calm, supervised environment. Exploration: Once or twice a week, I typically take a "field trip" day to see local sights or take a tour. On these days, I may be out for several hours (using public transport), but I always prioritise your pet’s feeding and exercise schedule before I head out. Duration: I specialise in and prefer extended house sits (one week or longer), as this allows the animals to truly settle in and bond with me. My calendar is kept strictly up to date—if it’s marked as available, I am ready to book! Experience & Specialised Care I have extensive experience with a wide variety of animals, from tiny Chihuahuas and Pomeranians to large breeds, cats, chickens, and horses. I am particularly comfortable with: Senior Pets: I’m experienced in following strict medication schedules, basic health routines, and providing the gentle care older animals need. Special Needs: I take great joy in getting to know each animal’s distinct personality and can accommodate individual health requirements with patience and a calm energy. I pride myself on being a trustworthy and compassionate guest in your home. You can relax knowing your beloved pets and your property are in capable, caring hands.
