Hello lovely pet parents! 🐾💛 I'm a passionate animal lover, experienced pet and house sitter, and trainee veterinary nurse working in a busy veterinary hospital in Townsville. Caring for animals is a huge part of who I am, both personally and professionally. Through my veterinary nursing traineeship, I've gained valuable hands-on experience caring for animals of different ages, breeds, temperaments and medical needs. From energetic youngsters to gentle seniors, confident personalities to nervous little souls, I understand that every animal is unique and deserves patience, kindness and care tailored to their individual needs. I've also had the pleasure of house sitting for some wonderful families and their much-loved pets. I know how important it is to feel confident that your furry family members are safe, happy and comfortable while you're away. I treat every pet with the same love, respect and attention I'd want for my own. 🐶 What I offer 🏡 House & Pet Sitting: I stay in your home overnight, allowing your pets to remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings. This includes feeding, fresh water, playtime, walks where appropriate, cuddles, maintaining routines and keeping your home tidy and secure. I'm also happy to bring in mail, water plants and help with other small household tasks. 🐾 Home Visits: Approximately 30-minute visits for feeding, refreshing water, toileting, litter tray cleaning, playtime, companionship and checking on your pets' general wellbeing. I'm happy to discuss longer visits or twice-daily visits depending on your pets' needs. 🦮 Dog Walking: Approximately 30-minute walks tailored to your dog's age, fitness, temperament and the weather. Living in North Queensland, I'm particularly mindful of the heat and will always prioritise your dog's comfort and safety. 🐱 Who I care for Dogs and cats are my main experience, but I'm also happy to discuss caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish, reptiles and other small or farm animals, depending on their individual requirements. I have a particular soft spot for senior pets and those who need a little extra reassurance, patience or attention. 💛 A little about my availability I work full-time as a trainee veterinary nurse on a rotating roster, including days, evenings and overnight shifts. While I can't provide constant supervision, I'm very happy to discuss your pet's routine and make sure my availability is suitable before accepting a booking. For home visits and dog walking, I generally prefer locations within 10–20 km, depending on my roster and travel requirements. I currently offer care in your home rather than boarding pets in my own accommodation. 📸 Keeping you updated I love sharing photos and little updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are being well cared for. Communication is incredibly important to me, and I'm always happy to answer questions or discuss any special routines, behavioural quirks or care requirements. Whether your pet is a cuddle bug, a cheeky troublemaker, an energetic adventurer or a shy little soul who needs time to warm up, I'd love the opportunity to get to know them. I look forward to meeting you and your beautiful animal family! 🐾💛
