"Aurelia was an excellent person to care for my cats in my home. I was away for 7 days and Aurelia was extremely diligent in her consistency with feeding the cats, cleaning out their litter and keeping everything clean.
Aurelia sent me photo updates every day and very kindly cleaned up when one of the cats did a binge and purge.
She is a very nice young lady and I was completely comfortable having her in my home and spending time with my cats.
Thank you Aurelia! "

"Anna is our regular go to cat sitter. We recently went away for 2.5 weeks and I was a bit worried as this is the longest time weâd left our cat Jemima without someone staying at our place, and just having someone pop in each day instead. I neednât have worried with Anna - we came home to a super calm (and excited) cat. Anna even had Jemima sitting on her lap on some of the days, which is pretty much unheard of for Jemima and people who arenât us. Thank you for taking such great care Anna!"

"We have engaged Rita to look after our cat whilst we were on holidays for 10 days.
Rita was absolutely amazing and we couldn't wish for a better sitter for our cat. She is very bubbly person with a positive energy & caring personality.
She constantly kept us updated on how things are going and Markiza's well-being along with photos of our kitty. Our cat looked well groomed and happy on the photos, which made us feel comfortable and have no worries.
Rita went out of her way by visiting our kitty more than twice a day, as was originally arranged, and brought her presents in the form of a cat nip and some food.
In addition, Rita looked after our plants and kept our apartment tidy! We thank her very much for all her help and recommend her in a heart beat to anyone needing a sitter who will genuinely care about your pet!"

Your pet sitting questions answered
Is pet sitting the same as a pet hotel?
Pet sitting is a more flexible arrangement, where a sitter can come to you, or your pet can go to them. They can offer many services to keep your pet happy, and your pet can be cared for in a home environment. Sitters are authentic people in your community, who simply love caring for pets.
What is a pet sitter?
A pet sitter is an individual who can be booked to provide personalised care for your pet. They are real people in your neighbourhood, often vet nurses, veterinarians, animal care students, retirees, young couples, families and more. What they all have in common is a real love of pets.
What does a pet sitter provide?
When you contact a sitter on our website, you can select the service that suits your pet's needs the best. Send a message to the sitter and have a conversation about your pet and your requirements, whether this involves them coming to stay at your home, or bringing your pet over to theirs.
Are there sitters located in Sydney?
There are hundreds of friendly, experienced pet sitters all over Sydney. Every suburb, from Bronte to Campbelltown to Hornsby to Double Bay, has a member of Pawshake ready to receive your message and help you out. Jump on the website today to get started.
