Hi, I’m Riley! I’ve loved animals my whole life and grew up caring for a variety of pets, including rescued dogs. This taught me patience, responsibility and how important it is to help every animal feel safe and comfortable. I have also cared for pets belonging to neighbours, friends and family while they were away, and I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, other small animals and reptiles.

I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and noticing the little quirks that make them unique. I understand that some animals are energetic and playful, while others may be shy, anxious, older or slower to trust. I always take a calm and patient approach, allowing each pet to become comfortable with me at their own pace.

Now that I’m living away from my family dog, I really miss having animals around. Pet sitting gives me the opportunity to spend meaningful time with pets while providing owners with reliable care and peace of mind.

Doggy day care: Your dog can spend the day with me in my home, where they will receive companionship, playtime, regular toilet breaks and walks suited to their normal routine, age and energy level. I keep their day as familiar and comfortable as possible.

Dog boarding: Boarding includes a 24-hour stay in my home. I closely follow your dog’s usual feeding, walking, sleeping and care routines so they can settle in and feel secure. Dogs staying in my home must be fully vaccinated and suitable for care in a home environment.

House sitting: I can stay in your home for a 24-hour period, allowing your pet to remain somewhere familiar. I will follow their normal routine, provide walks, meals, playtime and companionship, and treat your home with care and respect.

Home visits: Each visit lasts at least 30 minutes and can include feeding, refreshing water, toilet breaks, litter tray or enclosure care, playtime and companionship. You can book either one or two visits per day. If your pet requires medication, please let me know beforehand so we can confirm that I can safely manage their needs.

Dog walking: Walks last at least 30 minutes and are adjusted to suit your dog’s age, fitness, personality and usual walking routine.

Safety is extremely important to me. Before accepting a booking, I like to learn about your pet’s routine, behaviour, medical needs, triggers and emergency contacts. I carefully check doors, gates, collars, harnesses and leads, and I will never let a dog off-leash unless this has been specifically discussed and approved. I also remain mindful of traffic, other animals, weather conditions and anything that may cause your pet stress.

If I notice any unusual behaviour, illness or injury, I will contact you promptly and follow the veterinary or emergency instructions you have provided. I am also happy to send regular photos and updates so you know your pet is safe, comfortable and receiving plenty of attention.

My availability varies, so please check my calendar for your preferred dates. I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so I can learn about your pet’s routine, personality and individual needs. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel completely comfortable and confident before the booking.
