Hi everyone, I am Elisa! 👋 I'm 34 years old from Italy, and over the past year I've been travelling the world one petsit at a time through another site 🐾 I landed in Australia in November, and I have now settled in Sydney on a WHV, currently working part-time in a bakery. That said, I would really love to keep petsitting and meeting new furry friends. I'm based in Darlinghurst and usually available after 4 pm on weekdays, and all day on Wednesdays and weekends. Over the past year, I've completed multiple petsits, ranging from short stays of 3 days to longer ones of up to 3 weeks. I've cared for both cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments — from small breeds like poodles and pugs to larger dogs such as labradors and sharpeis, including puppies and senior dogs. When caring for pets, I always adapt to their personality and routine. Whether your dog is energetic and playful, anxious, or more calm and shy, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and respected in their own space. I'm comfortable administering medication such as pills to be given with food or creams to apply externally — I do not handle injections. I can also manage multiple pets at once, ensuring each one gets attention, care, and exercise according to their needs. For walks, I usually offer 30–60 minute outings depending on your dog's needs, energy level, and weather conditions, and I'm always happy to follow your usual routine. During visits, I don't just "check in" — I spend quality time with your pets, whether that means playing, cuddling, or simply keeping them company so they feel relaxed and not alone. I also keep an eye on their behaviour and overall wellbeing. I'm very attentive when it comes to safety. While I've fortunately never had to deal with emergencies, I always make sure to be prepared: I ask pet owners to provide emergency contacts, including their trusted vet and a local contact person available in case of need. I always follow instructions carefully and act responsibly in any situation. I also send regular updates to pet owners during bookings, including photos and messages, so you can feel assured that your pets are happy and safe. Can't wait to hear from you and meet you and your best friends! ~Elisa
