Hi! I’m Madeleine, originally from Sweden and currently studying design in Sydney. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and am a huge animal lover. My family has had both a smaller mixed breed (Dachshund/Norwegian Elkhound mix) and later a larger Labrador, who is still very much the heart of our family. I’m very comfortable around different dog sizes, personalities and routines, and have also helped friends in Sydney with pet sitting throughout my years down under.

I live a very active lifestyle and spend a lot of time outdoors, so long walks, playtime and keeping dogs active comes very naturally to me. I currently live centrally in Sydney but close to lots of parks and green areas, which makes it easy to give dogs stimulating walks and outdoor time throughout the day.

I’m confident handling different temperaments and am comfortable taking the lead when needed, while still being patient, calm and attentive to each dog’s personality. Having grown up with dogs, I’m used to routines, boundaries and basic training/commands, and understand how important consistency and trust are for pets.

Whether your dog is energetic and playful, a little anxious, older, or simply loves company, I always try to adapt to what makes them feel safest and happiest. I’m also happy to follow specific routines, feeding schedules or medication instructions if needed.

I typically adapt walks and care depending on each dog’s energy levels and needs — whether that’s longer active walks, slower sniff walks, playtime or simply keeping them company and comfortable at home. I’m also happy to provide regular photo/video updates to owners for peace of mind while they’re away I stay calm in unexpected situations and understand the importance of being attentive, responsible and communicative when caring for someone else’s pet. I’m comfortable following specific routines, feeding schedules, administering basic medication if needed, and helping anxious dogs feel safe and settled

As I study and live centrally in Sydney, I have a flexible schedule and am happy to travel to where you live. While I don’t currently have a car, I’m very used to getting around Sydney and am reliable, punctual and communicative. I’d love to provide a safe, caring and fun environment for your pet 🐾
