About me

I am 34 and I work part-time from home in communications for a not for profit.

I have been house sitting and pet sitting for 10+ years. I take pride in being reliable, capable, and communicative. 

I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and fish. Owners going away is usually a time of increased stress for pets, so I focus on calm, consistent care. I take time to learn their routine and stick to it, so everything feels as close to normal as possible. I find dogs will relax within the first 24hrs, 48hrs max for particularly anxious dogs. Cats, in my experience, are rarely too bothered! 

Why I pet sit

I house sit because I love spending time with animals, exploring new places, and meeting people I would not otherwise meet. I have always loved WWOOFing and house sitting for the sense of community it brings, and sometimes even new friends - animal or human.

My services

I offer house sitting combined with pet care, meaning I stay in your home while you are away. This includes:

• General home care (bringing in mail, watering plants, keeping the home clean). 
• Dog walking. 
• Administering medication if needed. 
• Reinforcing any training you have in place.

Because I primarily work from home, I can be present most of the time, which can suit pets needing companionship and provides home security.

Please note

- I am quite sensory sensitive, particularly to sound, so I seek a predictably quiet/calm environment at home. This would be relevant in the case of dogs prone to barking, or houses on busy main roads or near construction.

- I may not be in your local area, as I travel between house sits. If an in person meet is not possible, I usually do a few video calls instead. I understand this does not suit every situation, feel free to reach out to discuss.
