About Georgia
Hello there 🐶 I’m a caring and reliable animal lover based in Frankston with a wide range of pet feeding, walking and sitting experience since I was young.
I grew up having different pets from mice, rabbits & guinea pigs, to my sweet ferret Millie and our beloved family dogs – a playful Schnoodle Charlie and a cheeky Beagle x Foxhound Molly. I’ve been the go-to pet carer for family, friends and neighbours over the years, so I’ve had the pleasure of caring for fish, rats, birds, ferrets, lizards, cats, and many dog breeds and rescues young & old. In the past I’ve also done work experience at the Peninsula RSPCA in the adoption area and the cat and dog quarantines.
I have a gentle, attentive and calm approach with animals, and am very adaptable to different personalities from energetic & playful to shy & nervous. I appreciate how animals become part of the family, and how important it is to know that your pet is in safe and trustworthy hands, so I treat every animal with loving support like they were my own 💛
I’m excited to have more time for my passion of providing animal care, and while studying online I have flexible availability 7 days a week for:
• Walks & Home visits during the day from mid-morning to evening (local)
• House sitting (I’m happy to travel further out if travel costs are covered)
On walks I’m always aware of surroundings to keep your pet safe, and use leads and harnesses securely as requested. Whether your four-legged friend needs stimulating playful exercise or a gentle leisurely stroll with plenty of sniff-time, I ensure every walk is engaging and tailored to their needs and any training practices. (I’m unfortunately unable to walk large dogs but love to visit, house sit and care for all dog sizes!)
During visits and stays at your home I follow any specific care instructions closely and focus on keeping your pets happy, comfortable and well cared for. I prioritise their health & well-being with any medical or dietary requirements, routines, and preferences of play, cuddles or quiet time. I’m always happy to send regular photo and video updates to give you peace of mind seeing how your pets are doing, and I respect keeping your home and your pets’ environment clean and tidy. I can also collect mail, water plants and take out bins etc. if needed to keep your home well maintained while you’re away.
If you’d like to organise a meet & greet I’d love to make sure you and your animals feel comfortable and reassured before any booking, and I’m always happy to chat about any queries you may have via message, phone call or video call.
I look forward to meeting you and your animal companions 🤗🐾
