Animals have always been a central part of my life, and caring for them comes very naturally to me. I spent 15 years living on a farm where I raised my daughter and shared my days with five energetic kelpies. That time gave me deep practical experience with dogs of all temperaments, understanding their unique personalities, how to help them feel secure, and how to support them with the right mix of exercise, structure, and affection. Dogs have always been my closest companions, and although I now live in an apartment, I genuinely miss having one around every day. Caring for your pet is a way for me to bring that joy back into my life and give your dog the same love and attentiveness I gave to my own.

🐾 About My Services

I offer dog walking, pet sitting (in your home), and drop-in visits.

Here is what’s included:

• Dog walking: My standard walks are 30–45 minutes, and I can offer 1–2 walks per day depending on your dog’s needs.
• Exercise & enrichment: Gentle play, tug games, fetch, beach strolls, and mental stimulation activities.
• Feeding, fresh water, clean-ups, and maintaining your pet’s routine exactly as you specify.
• Basic medication administration (oral medication only).
• Basic training reinforcement such as practicing sit, stay, recall, loose-lead walking—if you have existing training you’d like me to maintain.
• Regular photo updates so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away.

For safety and quality of care:

• I only care for one household’s pets at a time to ensure they receive my full attention.
• I currently do not offer overnight in-home boarding at my apartment, but I can comfortably provide pet sitting in my home during the day. 

⏰ Time With Pets & Daily Routine

I work from home part-time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend generous, consistent time with pets.

• During pet sitting, your dog will not be left alone for more than 1 hour at a time, as required.
• I can be available for full-day supervision, including regular outdoor breaks and cuddles throughout the day.
• Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine, and walking along the coastal pathways near my home is part of my lifestyle—your dog will enjoy beautiful beachside walks with the sound of the ocean and plenty of interesting scents!

🏡 About My Home & Environment

I live in a clean, calm apartment close to the beach.

When I’m caring for pets:

• Dogs can sleep wherever they normally do—whether that’s in their bed, in the living room, or near me if that makes them feel more secure.
• Your home’s backyard, fences, and gates will be checked each visit to ensure complete safety during outdoor time.
• No other pets or children will be present at my home unless arranged with you, so your dog receives calm, undivided care.
