Hi! I’m María, a friendly and reliable pet sitter currently doing my PhD in Sydney. I work from home most of the time, which means I can give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and company throughout the day. I genuinely love being around animals, I’ve always grown up surrounded by pets back in Spain, so spending time with animals here in Australia truly makes me feel at home.

I live an active lifestyle and especially enjoy caring for energetic dogs who love long walks, playtime, and stimulation, but I’m also very comfortable with calmer or older pets who prefer a quieter routine. I always try to adapt to each pet’s personality and needs to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away.

I’m based near several pet-friendly areas, including Sydney Park and Turruwul Park, where I usually take dogs for walks. My walks are typically between 45–90 minutes depending on the dog’s age and energy level, and I also provide shorter potty breaks and play sessions throughout the day.

A typical day with me includes morning and evening walks, feeding according to your instructions, lots of affection and companionship, and regular supervision while I work from home. Pets are never left alone for long periods, and I always make sure they feel included and relaxed in the home environment.

I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, sizes, and routines, including puppies and high-energy dogs. I’m attentive, patient, and responsible, and I always prioritise safety during walks and daily care. I also love sending regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured and connected while they’re away.

My availability is quite flexible, and because I work from home I’m able to spend a lot of quality time with pets throughout the week. I’m happy to follow specific routines, feeding schedules, or care instructions to make sure your pet feels as comfortable and happy as possible.
