Hello! My name is Natalia ☺️ I'm 20 years old and recently moved to Australia from Brazil. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. My beautiful dog, Lady, has been my best friend for many years and inspired my passion for pet care. Leaving her behind was one of the hardest parts of moving to Australia, and it reminded me how important it is to have someone trustworthy looking after your furry family member.
Although I haven't worked as a professional pet sitter for a company, I've spent years caring for pets through word-of-mouth recommendations from friends, family, colleagues, and their referrals. Over the years, I've looked after around 10 pets, and each experience has strengthened my confidence and love for animal care.
I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, pregnant dogs, mothers with newborn puppies, and pets recovering after giving birth. I'm comfortable administering medication with clear instructions, reinforcing basic training, brushing, cleaning litter trays and outdoor areas, feeding, refreshing water, and keeping pets happy and comfortable in their usual routine.
I also have experience with large breeds, especially Pit Bulls, thanks to my aunt's kennel, so I'm confident handling both small and large dogs. Besides dogs, I've also cared for cats and guinea pigs, and I'm always happy to learn about the needs of other animals.
I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight house sitting, and long-term care. I work from home, which gives me flexibility and allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets I care for. I love long walks, interactive play, and creating simple enrichment activities using safe recycled materials to keep pets mentally stimulated. I'll also send regular photos and updates, so you'll always know how your pet is doing. In case of emergencies, I always remained calm and focused, prioritising the pet’s safety and wellbeing. I would carefully assess the situation, contact the owner immediately with clear updates, and seek veterinary assistance when necessary. My home was a safe and pet-friendly environment, with secure spaces and a dedicated area where pets could stay comfortably and safely. The pet area was limited and supervised to prevent accidents, escapes, or exposure to anything harmful. I always maintained a clean, organised, and comfortable space where pets could relax, play, and feel at home while receiving the attention and care they needed. My goal is simple: to treat every pet like family, providing the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own Lady. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I'll do everything I can to make both you and your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy. 💖🐾
