Hello, I'm Marcus, a caring and dedicated dog carer based in Sydney with over a year of professional dog-sitting experience, looking after a wonderful variety of breeds, from cavoodles and golden retrievers to border collies, labradors, jack russells, and pitbulls. Before that, a lifetime of living with dogs means I'm completely at home with all shapes, sizes, and personalities.

My approach is pretty straightforward: I follow your dog's usual routine as closely as possible, keeping their world familiar and stress-free. That can mean regular walks to the local parks, meals on schedule, playtime tailored to what your dog enjoys, and plenty of calm companionship in between. I can also send photo updates along the way, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for.

I have experience with dogs with special needs, including an elderly dog with post-stroke nerve sensitivity, so I'm attentive to the individual needs of every animal in my care.

My own dog, Bailey, is a calm and emotionally well-balanced 2.5-year-old beagle who attends weekly training classes and is very happy around other dogs. She is playful when the energy is there, and happy to settle down when it's not. She's happiest following the scents she picks up in the garden or out on a walk — which means she's great company without being demanding. She can be a calming presence for dogs who are a little anxious or unsure.

My home is fully fenced and secure, with a calm, quiet household with no children and two lovely parks a short walk away that Bailey and I visit daily.

I take the wellbeing of every dog I care for seriously. A dog's emotions are honest and pure, and the bond you can form with them is one of life's great privileges. As the saying goes: once you've had a wonderful dog, a life without one is a life diminished. Every dog in my care gets the same care and attention I give Bailey.
