I am currently working within the environmental conservation sector with a focus on the conservation of wildlife and native vegetation. I have just recently finished my bachelor's degree in environmental science and alongside my current role, I am looking for some extra work with your furry friends 
I come from the rural southeast coast of NSW and have always grown up with animals (Dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and guinea pigs). I always had cattle dogs growing up which was a challenge but enjoyable to keep them well exercised. Currently, I have no dog as my rental is too small for one so I would love the opportunity to meet your furry friend! My cat Juno is very shy and anxious so you can be sure that I will take the utmost care and provide patience for giving them enrichment within their lives while you are away/busy.&nbsp;
I love being around animals and take pleasure in providing them with happiness and affection. Pet sitting is a dream job for me to have on the side of my current occupation and I hope that you find me a suitable sitter while you are away/busy.
I would like to keep my services within a 5-10km radius of my home suburb Coburg. My work hours are 7:30am-4pm full time and can sometimes take until 5pm to get home. I am happy to do very early morning visits before work and any afternoon visits after 5:30pm. On weekends I am available at all times.
HOME VISITS:
- Up to 1hr which includes travel time
- Spending quality time with pets
- Can include a short 10-15min walk in a home visit but any longer would require the walk booking
-  Water refill, feeding and cleaning/changing the litter.&nbsp;
Additional tasks:
Watering plants, bin runs, bringing in mail etc.
WALKS:
- 30 mins to 1hr depending on pets' needs and fitness levels. Can be discussed further.
- Have a good level of fitness so any pace of walk is fine with me
- Will take to dog parks and around your local areas for socialising and familiarity for the animal
HOUSE/PET SITTING:
- Can only commit to short stays at this stage (1-2 nights)
- Includes everything mentioned in-home visits and walks







Hi I'm Jamie,&nbsp; I am a animal lover by heart. I believe in working hard and doing the best I can possibly do. I like to be honest and reliable. I do have social anxiety but animals have always made me happy so I want to share that with the world. I have lived with cats most of my life but I generally like most animals but I do have a fear of snakes and spiders otherwise I'm good with other animals. I want to help pets and owners even if it's for 30 minutes as long as I am able to help people I am a very happy lady. I want to become a vet nurse and help those in need this means I am wanting to do studying soon for it so I might not have much time but will definitely try to. This also means that providing the services I am offering will also give me the experience needed to become said vet nurse. I like writing, drawing and rest with my pets (2 cats). I don't drive but I am currently learning to while I do I am taking public transportation and being taken by my partner to places. Currently I cannot do very far away places yet but once i get my licence i am hoping to be able to provide that service. Please note I live in a ground floor apartment offering a large courtyard (55sqm) for a medium to large size dog to roam comfortably. I have my own 9 year old labrador retriever who is affectionate and gets on well with other dogs and cats! I live right near an expansive inner-city nature reserve (Yarra Bend) providing abundant space for leisurely and refreshing long walks along the Yarra River. The surrounding area provides a dog off leash area and abundant space for leisurely long walks.

I am a pet lover, having grown up with cats and chickens and more recently been around many friends dogs. I also started house and dog sitting last year and absolutely loved the experience. As I love travelling I can't have pets of my own so I live through your pets instead! I have experience walking, feeding and looking after small and medium/large dogs such as labradors and border collies.&nbsp;
I am currently working full time in Thomastown but I start early and finish early so am available for dog walking weekday evenings, Friday afternoons and weekends. I am available for home visits to feed pets and administer medication. These home visits can be up to one hour long and I'm also available to water plants and bring in the mail. I am available for dog walking up to one hour per session. I can take the dogs for walks in local parks and let them run around off leash if you would like. I travel by bike or public transport and am flexible.
