My name is Sonja, I'm originally from a farm in New Zealand. I moved to Melbourne a couple of years ago and miss my family's and friend's animals that I had in my life.

I love animals, even more so from growing up on a farm. I have exeprience with all the usual rural suspects: cows, sheep, goats, and chickens. Of course I've also had cats and dogs in my life since I was a child as well, and am well versed with the unique personalities of cats and the energy of many breeds of dog. My most recent experience with dogs include collies, kelpies, huntaways, schauzers and pugs. Some people are scared of some breeds of dog but not me, loving both large and small.

I love walking and thoughout my teen years (quite long ago now unfortunately) I was a local babysitter and would feed cats on peoples' holidays. More recently (now) I'm a working professional who works a lot from home. More about me personally: I work in policy. My hobbies outside of work include running, reading and Pilates.

I've signed up here as everyone knows the fleeting happiness you get when you see a cat or a dog on a walk, so I'm trying to improve my odds and arrange more animal time! Looking forward to hearing from you.
