I’m Imogen; a genuine dog lover with plenty of experience caring for dogs of different shapes, sizes, ages, temperaments and personalities, including those with varying medical and care needs. I’m very comfortable with the ins and outs of dog care and ownership, having owned and cared for a variety of breeds over the years, with particular experience of both scent and sight hounds. A little about my approach Whether your dog is a couch potato who seeks out the sunny spot, an adventurous explorer who loves getting muddy in the dirtiest puddle, or indeed both at different times of the day, I’m happy to accommodate their personality, routine and individual needs. Staying at my home We are based in Prahran, where we’re spoilt for choice with local parks and walking routes. I’d be very happy to welcome your dog into our spacious three bedroom apartment, where they’ll have plenty of room to settle in and make themselves at home. I work from home most of the week, so they’ll have company throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. There’s plenty of time for slower-paced pavement strolls, or off-leash fetching sessions at the local parks (where appropriate and agreed). Typical walks can range from 20 minutes to over an hour, depending on the needs of the dog. Evenings, when my partner is home, usually involve winding down, relaxing and watching the sunset from the balcony, or a good series on the TV. Your dog will have plenty of good snuggle options, or plenty of space to spread out by themselves, if that’s what they prefer. House-sitting at your home I’ve house-sat for friends and family on several occasions, sometimes for multiple weeks at a time while owners have been overseas. This has involved caring for their dogs in their own homes, keeping to the dogs’ usual routines whilst also maintaining the house - ensuring everything continues as normal while their owners are away. House-sitting with me always comes with regular photo and message updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pup is in good hands. Whichever arrangement you choose, my priority is making sure your dog feels comfortable, settled and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾 💕
