We’re a couple in Sydney who both work from home with our Cavoodle Leo. We know we’d want to hear more than “he’s fine” if we were leaving him with someone. We’d want to know he’s eating, settling in and getting affection when he needs it. That’s the care we want to give your dog, and we’ll send photos throughout the day so you can see how they’re doing.

We only host one dog at a time, unless you have two from the same family. Your dog will share our home with Leo and have plenty of attention from us. One of us will always be with them, even when the other heads out. Our flatmate is also home regularly and loves having dogs around.

Before their stay, we’d love to know what they’re like at home. Do they ask for a cuddle after dinner? Need a little encouragement to eat? Prefer some space when they first arrive? Those details help us look after them the way they’re used to.

We usually head out for three walks a day, morning, afternoon and evening, for about 15 minutes each. We’re happy to take longer walks or adjust the routine to suit them. There’s also a large grass lawn in our building’s dedicated dog area on the 29th floor, with room to run around and meet other dogs if they enjoy that.

They’re welcome on the couch and, if they’re used to sleeping beside you, in bed with us too. We can also put their own bed or crate in our bedroom so they have company overnight. There’s a spare pet bed here if needed.

We’ll follow your instructions for meals and treats, keep fresh water available and can give non injectable medication. If they need a vet visit, we’ll take them, and there’s a Petbarn nearby for any supplies.

Mostly, we want your dog to feel comfortable here. Whether that means a game with Leo, lots of cuddles or a quiet nap beside us while we work, we’re happy to let them settle in at their own pace.
