Hi! I'm Cecillia and I love caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’ve always enjoyed being around pets and have experience caring for animals through caring for a few of my friends pets, although not having any of my own. I've been trusted to look after my friend's two dogs while her family was away on vacation for a few days.

I provide reliable pet care including Dog walking, pet sitting, and home visits with each visit ranging from 30 mins to a full 24hrs. Walks are dependent on the age of the dog, smaller dogs last about 20-40 mins while bigger dogs last about an hour or two. I focus on giving pets attention, playtime, feeding, walks, and plenty of care based on their individual needs.

I care for anxious pets with patience, kindness, and understanding. I give them space to adjust, follow their usual routine, and help them feel safe and comfortable at their own pace. If there are any updates on the pet regarding any questions or issues I would normally contact the owner via phone or directly call the owner if the situation is dire. 

I prioritise pet safety by keeping a close eye on their environment, behaviour, and needs. In an emergency, I would stay calm, contact the owner, and seek help if needed. Pets would not be left alone for long periods and would receive regular care, attention, exercise, food, and water.

A typical visit would include feeding them, refreshing water, playtime, walks if needed, cleaning up, and making sure they are happy and comfortable while keeping the owner updated.

My responsibilities include: 

- preparing meals according to specific dietary requirements and feeding schedules

- providing fresh water and maintaining clean feeding areas 

- supervising playtimes and ensuring they receive appropriate physical and mental stimulation 

- cleaning litter boxes, cages and bedding

In regards to administering medication: 

- giving medication such as tablets capsules or liquid medication by following the prescribed dosage and schedule 

- mixing medication in the food when appropriate by opening capsules to ensure the medication is consumed.

- communicating any concerns to pet owners or a veterinarian if necessary 

During emergencies I remain calm and organised. Some examples include; if a pet were to get injured during a walk, I would secure the animal, check for visible injuries, limit their movement if necessary and contacting the pet owner.

If the pet is choking, I respond by assessing the situation quickly and transporting the pet to emergency veterinary care if the obstruction cannot be safely resolved.

I care for all types of pets and understand that every animal has their own personality and routine. My setup is in Parramatta, and I’m available from 6am till 11pm on Mondays to Saturdays I’ll always treat your pet like they’re my own and make sure you have peace of mind while they’re in my care.
