At the moment I am living in the city,  which makes it very convenient to move around as required. Back at home, I have 2 small dogs, 1 mixed female and 1 silky terrier male, and I miss them so much, both of them were adopted. Looking after a dog here will make me feel a bit at home. I always make sure they feel comfortable with me being around them, I am caring, careful, fun, and with lots of patience to look after animals. I would enjoy this job so much that I wouldn't even feel it like a job. I have experience looking after small dogs, puppies and guide dogs. I am currently doing a double degree in animal science and animal behaviour and have loved animals my whole life. I grew up having many pets in my home back in Singapore. In my lifetime I've had fish, terrapins, rabbits, hamsters, fancy rats and now have a 14 year old maltipoo. I've also worked and volunteered at Mandai Wildlife Reserve for many years and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in Singapore for 1 year and 4 months. 
At the SPCA I was in charge of the adoption gallery area which is the area right before the animals go to their forever homes. At the SPCA, I took care of hamsters, gerbils, Guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, cats and dogs. My daily routine was to clean the animals cages in the morning, prepare their meals each day, provide them with enrichment via toys, walks, exercise time and interactions with other dogs or cats. I was also very heavily involved in doing adoptions for the animals and had to handle the animals for the potential adopters to interact with, which sadly included aggressive and traumatised animals.

I am currently a 3rd year vet student, that graduated with a diploma in veterinary nursing, and worked in several veterinary clinics in Singapore before choosing to further my studies in Australia. I was responsible for the care of my adopted dog back home, which unfortunately passed away 2 years ago. I would however love to extend the same care and compassion to other pets.&nbsp;

A bit of background on me: After driving my parents crazy by constantly showing up at home with a new animal in need of a loving home, I decided to make the move from South Africa to Adelaide to pursue my passion for animal care in 2019. I am available from Monday to Friday from 6am to 4pm because I am a student. All day on weekends. Within my services I can administer oral medication to pets and teach them various tricks  Feed the pet as necessary. Pets are kept in hygienic conditions: any dirt is cleaned from the pet and the owner is informed of any signs of illness or injury. The length of my home visits depends on how much the owner needs me, the minimum is half an hour. The duration of the walks is half an hour. In 24-hour housekeeping and in all services I can also water the plants.

I've recently moved from Ireland to Australia, which means I unfortunately cannot have my pets with me. I have so much love in me for a pet and I want to give that love to the pets of SA!
I have a BSc degree in Veterinary Nursing and I also grew up on a farm surrounded my animals both large and small. I have had cats, dogs, fish and rabbits as my own pets and I've worked with chickens, turkeys and cows on my farm. In my experience from vet nursing I have worked with snakes, small birds, turtles, iguanas and cats and dogs both big and small breeds.
I have experience working with a lot of different animals in all shapes and sizes and if you choose me as your pet sitter, I will always give 100% to the animal I am caring for. I know just how much people's pets mean to them and I want to make sure that when their favourite people in the world aren't there, I can be there.
I am available to come to your home and stay over night for how ever many days necessary. I am currently working as a traffic controller casually, so I will have to leave for a few hours here and there, but more often than not I have time off that I would happily spend with your pets.
If it's just to walk, fed or spend time with your pets. I can also do some basic chores while I am there such as water plants and collect mail and tidy up after the animals.
As qualified veterinary nurse I can also administer medications orally and via injection.
I can also groom your pets, I don't have grooming equipment myself, but if you do and your pet needs to be bathed or is in need of a good trim, I am delighted to be of service.
