My name is Ellen and I have owned a dog for 10 years, from since he was a puppy.
I offer a range of services, from drop ins, dog walks to daytime/overnight stay for dogs. I have a house with about 150m2 of backyard so plenty of space for your dog to run around, a fully brick fenced so you don't need to worry about your dog running away and getting lost.  There is an off leash park within 500m of the house and the house is in a quiet cul de sac.
Your dog will sleep next to our bed inside the house. If it's a smaller dog it can sleep on the bed as well.
I live in Mount Waverley, so preference is in the surrounding eastern suburbs. But wouldn't mind travelling a bit further away either depending on the location.
We are not doing this for money as me and my partner are just craving company.  We absolutely love dogs so you need not be worried that I will give your dog the love and care it needs!
I'm a Transport Engineer during the day, but I work from home Monday/Wednesday/Friday, my partner is home every every day so the dog will never be left alone . My lovely partner is also a huge dog lover, and we plan to get our own paw friend  here in Melb one day.

My background includes dedicated service at an island dog rescue, adeptly managing the care of up to 200 dogs simultaneously with other volunteers. This included taking care of dogs with disabilities, correcting behavioural issues, socializing dogs, training dogs, and preparing dogs for their forever home. I have experience with puppies all the way up to senior dogs. I have worked with all different sizes and breeds. I can train pups, care for seniors, give meds or whatever is required. My priority will always be your pet and their well-being. Over the past year, I have embarked on my dog-sitting and dog-walking journey as I miss having a dog at school. I have a very flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and most weekdays. hi i have three dogs myself (German shepherd, two mixed breeds) thus, could say that i have some experience with dogs. i took them in when they were young and raised them by myself.&nbsp;
My three dogs have different sizes (medium to small) therefore i am comfortable taking care of dogs with these sizes. After having my dogs, i have been walking my dogs more often and realised what a fun form of exercise it could be while also enjoying it alot. I have always been a dog lover since childhood and will continue to always love and play with them.&nbsp;
Therefore, i figured since i love dogs so much and do have some experience on taking care of dogs, it would be amazing to earn some cash while doing so at the same time. I have taken care dogs for my close friends before and it has always gone well. But i have never really took on an official petsitter job before. However, i can say that i will ensure that your pets are well taken care of and receive lots of care and affection (belly rubs!!!).
